There was no escape, he iChatted it to me (I normally just ignore his tweets because I’m terribly busy) but this time he’s hit a good’un! Brazilian viral marketing agency and general media monsters Gringo have produced a nice little self promo (worth a visit if the director of your company insists) but the thing that really caught my attention was their international swear box…They accept submissions from around the world for all the down and dirty street lingo you know will one day end up scoring you a free beer. Or a bitch-slap. Here’s the social widget, because it’s all about social widgets nowadays. Obviously.

This is such an ace promo for the new Transformers film. They’re out there somewhere, attempting to take over earth, and what better way to raise the alarm than posting videos on You Tube! REAL LIVE footage of Transformers…

No we didn’t make it but we’re gonna find out who did and shake their hand…

… and now for something completely different. This morning the Skittles home-page turned itself into a big Twitter page. Suddenly we’re able to graffiti onto a huge brand’s front door and no-one’s trying to stop us. What a great way to spread a site virally!

I wonder if there’s a long-term goal for the site though? Only as a funny stunt for a few days, it’s brilliant. We’ll definitely start to see some inspired use of it with Twitterers all competing to get their next clever idea up there.

However after all that excitement has gone, will it find a niche of people twitting every-time they scoff a bag of skittles? Will people start to comment and try to hold votes on it about favourite colours? Will people just be plain rude, and find it funny to get swear words up on the site?

Either way, time will tell so well done Skittles.

Shiver me timbers! There be treasure on them shores! Etc. Booty Juggler, our collaboration with Robin Davey the talented Bristol animator and pensmith, has been storming its way up the 4mations charts (most played flash game, right? Win cash prizes ladies and gentlemen! Vote for us…) and is currently being seeded to within an inch of its life by the them there flash-lovers at Rubber Republic.

Many thanks for their hard work – it’s featured on some biggie sites like I Am Bored and Indie Games. It was racking up 20,000 hits a day when the Rubber boys first started seeding last week. Or it might have been the week before that. Have a play on it folks – not as easy as it looks, and people are racking up scores of 30,000 plus which is a little worrying. I could only bust out 25,000 when developing it!

Team Rubber’s Euroball game for JVC, developed with Thought Den love at the tail end of last year (more info in our Portfolio), has been voted Adobe’s site of the day! A huge accolade from the people that make the software we all use day in day out. Great news!
