Bristol Open (free!) Coffee morning
Had a great session this Wednesday at the OpenCoffee in Starbucks on Park Street. The morning is centred around breaking business issues and opportunities for the Bristol digital scene.
It started at 8.30, early bird catches the worm an’ all, and continued till around 9-10′ish. There were some very good chats with some interesting new Bristol people, somehow we managed to cover Bluetooth Happy Packages (cheers Chris Garrett) & a marketing event, where Thought Den are calling a load of phones to create a cacophony of ring-tones (cheers Sam Machin)! More news on that din another time.
The morning was fantastic and a very successful networking event where for once, I managed to have a civil ‘non-red-wine fuelled’ tech chat There just seemed to be a buzz and lots of young fresh idea-laden talent balanced with some ‘wiser’ investment people how know the business world slightly more.
If you want to turn up to the next one, contact John Bradford at http://www.jbsh.co.uk/ for more details and I’ll see you there for coffee at dawn.

It was great to meet with you too Dan, OpenCoffee is one of my favourite meetups because it’s just so easy to get talking with different people about so many different subjects.
